Upper Adams Communities Celebrate America's 250th Anniversary

The Upper Adams Communities will come together to host a parade, flag retirement ceremony, and a car, tractor and motorcycle show. There will be live bands providing entertainment, and food trucks will be on-site. This event aims to celebrate and strengthen community bonds.

The event is being organized by the Upper Adams communities, including Arendtsville Borough, Bendersville Borough, Biglerville Borough, Butler Township, and Menallen Township all part of the Upper Adams School District. Also included is Oakside Community Park, Upper Adams Jaycees, and American Legion Post 262.

Date: Saturday June 13, 2026
Time: Parade will kickoff at 1pm at the UASD High School. Participants walking in the parade will end at the Biglerville Fire Company, all vehicles and floats in the parade will turn left onto East Hanover Street and go to Oakside Community Park.


Events at Oakside Park will begin at 2pm and includes car/tractor/motorcycle show, live entertainment, family fun, cornhole tournament, food trucks, and the solemn flag retire ceremony.

Forms

For a successful celebration, we need sponsors, volunteers, and participants for the parade, car, tractor, and motorcycle shows, as well as entertainment and food truck vendors.

Anyone registering for the parade MUST read and sign the parade rules and the liability waiver.

Anyone registering for the auto show MUST read over and sign the auto show rules and the liability waiver.

All volunteers MUST sign the liability waiver.
